About this tool
This generator builds an email signature from your details: name, job title, company, phone numbers, email, website, address, a photo or logo, and up to five links to your profiles. The HTML it produces uses tables and inline styles, the format Gmail and Outlook accept, with no external stylesheet or script. Three templates are available: horizontal with photo, vertical and minimal.
A panel flags fields that won’t appear, such as an invalid email address, a phone number that can’t be dialed or an image that isn’t served over https. Phone numbers become tel: links and the email a mailto: link. You can copy the formatted signature to paste into your mail client, copy the HTML code or download it, with setup steps for Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail.
How to use it
- Fill in “Your details”: “Full name”, job title, contact info and, if you like, a “Photo or logo URL”.
- Add your profiles with “Add a link”, then pick an “Accent colour” and a “Template”.
- Check the “Preview” and fix anything listed under “To check”.
- Click “Copy signature” and paste it into your mail settings, or use “Copy HTML code” or “Download .html”.
Frequently asked questions
Does the signature work in Gmail and Outlook?
The HTML is built with tables and inline styles, without external CSS or scripts, which is what these clients accept. The page includes setup steps for Gmail, Outlook on the web or classic Outlook, and Apple Mail.
How do I add my photo or logo?
Enter the public https address of an image, ideally square; it is displayed at 80 × 80 pixels. The tool doesn’t host the image, and plain http addresses are rejected because mail clients block or flag them.
Why doesn’t the preview show my image?
For security, the page never loads external images, so the preview shows a placeholder with the name of the site hosting the image. The copied signature contains the real image tag, and it will display in your mail client.
Is my information sent to a server?
No. The signature is generated in your browser with no network requests, and the HTML file is created locally. The form is saved in this browser’s local storage so your details are still there on your next visit.
